What are you afraid of? How fear holds us back from innovation, and what you can do about it (S1 E10)

Fear of failure often prevents us from embracing change in our lives and workspaces. In this episode we talk with educator and USC Doctoral candidate Sabba Quidwai about how we can overcome fear so that we can create a culture of empathy and a culture of innovation.

Sabba Quidwai wants to live in a world driven by empathy.  In working with schools and organizations to reimagine teaching and learning in a mobile-driven world, the greatest lesson she’s learned is that cultures of innovation begin with a culture of empathy.  
Sabba’s experience in education spans across K-12 and higher education.  Her career began as a high school social science teacher and over the years she has led 1:1 iPad initiatives across K-12 and higher education institutions, notably Fairmont Private Schools and the University of Southern California.

Sabba is currently a Global Executive Doctor of Education student at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California where she is studying how design thinking in K12 can help students thrive in the age of automation.
